We worked with Scientific American on visualizing the rapid change in the Arctic’s climate. The 11 graphs we designed show that in the last two years air and water temperatures in the Arctic are reaching the highest levels ever recorded, along with the highest depletion of ice and heightened levels of water vapor. The data depicted in these graphs support the theory that the effects of Arctic warming (i.e. loss of permanent ice and hotter, wetter air) is the leading cause of the climate extremes seen globally.
